Orange Cranberry Couscous

Couscous for breakfast? Why not! With orange zest and orange flavored cranberry, it is literally a feast! It is as easy as oatmeal to prepare and it makes a nice change.

*Dehydrated orange zest or dried orange peel can be found in the spice section of some grocery stores and in most Asian grocery stores.


  • Stove + fuel
  • Pot to boil water
  • Bowls to eat
  • sporks or forks!

Before trip

  1. Mix in a plastic bag: mix all the ingredients

At camp

  1. Bring to boil about 1 cup of water.
  2. Pour boiling water over dry ingredients and mix.
  3. Wait for about 5 minutes and enjoy!
