Overnight trips are perfect for backpacking novices and for experienced (and busy) outdoor adventurers. Here are 3 menus to help you plan your next overnight trip.

Let’s consider that the breakfast of day 1 and dinner of day 2 are eaten at home or on the road.

  • Your favorite roast beef sandwich prepared at home
  • Apple

  • Beef Jerky
  • Cheese stick
  • Crackers
  • Dried fruits

  • Your favorite Brie cheese and apple sandwich prepared at home
  • Fresh fruit

  • Cheese stick
  • Olives (available in individual packages)
  • Crackers
  • Eggplant dip (I love the Trader Joe’s one !)

  • Your favorite smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel prepared at home
  • Fresh veggies

Day 2 Breakfast

  • Seasoned canned tuna in tortilla wrap
  • dried fruits
